GEEP Tops the 2009 RCO Waste Minimization Awards

Barrie, ON – October 23, 2009 – Last night in Toronto, at the 2009 Recycling Council of Ontario’s Waste Minimization Awards Ceremony, GEEP (Global Electric Electronic Processing) Inc. won three awards for excellence in recycling. GEEP was presented with Gold awards in both the Program Operator and Business categories. In addition, GEEP was awarded the highest level of recognition - the Platinum award - in the Sustainable Product or Service category. This is indeed a testament to GEEP’s philosophy of continuous improvement.

On May 20, 2009 the Michigan Recycling Coalition elected Jack Iwema to their Board of Directors. Iwema's career in the environmental services sector spans 35 years through various aspects in the solid waste, scrap, septic waste, and electronic waste industries. Jack is the General Manager of GEEP Michigan located in Warren, MI.

It's actually pretty toxic--what with all those plastic bits and heavy metals, etc. Of course, by now you know that when you want to get rid of your TV or computer, you must take it to an eco-centre, not throw it in the trash. Déjeuner Conférence pour l’Environnement

Le Comité Écologique du Grand Montréal, membre de la Chambre de commerce de l’Est de l’Île de Montréal et de la Chambre de commerce du Montréal métropolitain, invite les gens d’affaires et les décideurs à un déjeuner-conférence le lundi 1er juin 2009 de 7h30 à 9h00 au Centre Antique de Montréal au 6086 Sherbrooke Est (métro Cadillac). Des décrocheurs au service de la récupération

D’anciens décrocheurs scolaires pourront effectuer un stage de perfectionnement leur permettant de devenir de meilleurs techniciens en recyclage informatique grâce à une entreprise canadienne réputée.

S’adressant aux élèves des Centres de formation entreprise et récupération, ces stages offerts par GEEP Écosys permettront aux élèves d’affiner leurs connaissances en recyclage écologique. « Ces stages faciliteront leur transition de l’école vers le marché du travail », explique la porte-parole de GEEP, Leidy D. Ojeda.

GEEP wins National Master Standing Offer with Government of Canada

Public Works and Government Services Canada recently awarded GEEP Texas LLC and GEEP Ecosys Inc., subsidiaries of GEEP International, a three year National Master Standing Offer (# E60QE-08BIO4/003/QE) for the companies’ proprietary data sanitizing software, EBAN (Enterprise Boot and Nuke). The contract will allow Canadian government agencies and departments to quickly and easily access the software to sanitize multiple electronic data storage devices simultaneously.
